K. J. Somaiya Bharatiya Sanskriti Peetham has constituted a Local Management Committee as per the guidelines of Kavi Kulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek and the University of Mumbai.  The meetings of the LMC are held regularly.  It takes decisions about the activities of the institute, future plans of action such as international seminars, publications, international collaborations.  It also supervises the annual budget and balance sheet of Peetham.

The day to day functioning of Peetham is conducted under the leadership of the Director of the institute. The responsibility of every course run by the institute is delegated to respective faculty member.

The responsibility of administrative work related to Kavi Kulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University and University of Mumbai, the correspondence with international collaborators and the ground work for research projects is given to senior admininstrative staff members.
